Mentor Program

The Woonsocket Mentor Program is a school-based one-to-one mentoring program. Mentoring is done on school grounds, during the school day, throughout the school year (Even mentors need some time off).

Mentors engage their mentees in such activities as board and card games, crafts and art, reading, and sports/outdoor activities.

Mentors are supported EVERY step of the way by the Program Coordinator and school faculty.

Your Commitment: ONE HOUR A WEEK! (It’s that easy!)

What We Need From You

  • Completed Mentor Application
  • Pass required screening process (Includes State background checks)
  • Attend 2-hour Training session
  • Initial commitment is for one year (Ideally, we’d love the match to continue for several school years!)
